Eagle Creek Ranch

I was a little worried given the limited number of reviews of Eagle Creek Ranch, so was hesitant to give it a try. We are glad we did since it really exceeded our expectations for our family of five. The staff were very welcoming/helpful and the pictures true to what we expected (see mine below for confirmation). Shaw cooked us an amazing breakfast and let our kids help put the sheep and alpacas to bed every night. The kids loved the polydactyl cats/kittens they raised and the Trinity river was a beautiful place to spend the day. Even though there isnt really a beach to speak of, our three kids spent the entire day at the swimming hole, skipping lunch and catching rainbow trout which Shaw cooked up for us for dinner. Three things to note: 1) there is no cell service (WiFi at the main house) and 2) the ranch is licensed to grow cannabis (though out of sight from the living area) if those are issues for you. Overall highly recommended.

My wife and I just spent a long weekend destination wedding here. The word WOW keeps coming to mind. The beautiful views, charming hosts and out of this world food will bring me back again. Highly recommend truly a 5 star stay.
