The most amazing massage I have ever experienced! I went in with a tight neck and shoulders (from cutting trees all day), sore arms, and lower back pain and the therapist completely knocked out all the discomfort in an hour's time. Using a combination of medical technology and massage oil, she performed a minor miracle! Highly recommend. The best massage in Carrollton, in my opinion.

Following cancer treatment that included extensive radiation treatment in my neck and throat I had surgery to remove the lymph nodes in my throat and neck. After the surgery I needed lymphoma massage and started with Ellen and immediately began to get positive results. Her training in lymphoma message is extensive and her skills and techniques are superb. She also successfully treated speech impediments caused by the surgery. After a few months of treatment I am extremely pleased with the results of Ellen's care. I can highly recommend Ellen as a lymphoma message specialist.

She is not only an amazing therapist but also a great people person. Should definitely give her a look if you're hurting. I injured my back at work and was sent here for therapy. I have always been nervous about massages and physical therapy because I do not like to be touched and normally do not enjoy massages. Ellen is fantastic and is always very sensitive to client needs. She has talked me through what every exercise/motion is doing and what she is doing and even down to the science behind why it works. She absolutely knows her stuff. I have never been in as much pain as I was from this injury and honestly didn't think I'd be able to heal from this completely without some kind of surgery or medication. Ellen worked her magic and I am as good as new, maybe even better! Please don't hesitate to seek her out, she offers a variety of services and works with all kinds of clients or issues from injuries to chronic pain, and more. Her prices are very reasonable, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

After a car accident in 2018 I found myself dealing with multiple symptoms of Post Concussion Syndrome. I had gotten some relief with CBD but still just didnt feel myself. I was dealing with PTSD and anxiety which had never been a problem in the past. I talked with Ellen about the Brain Therapy she offers and decided to give it a try. It has been monumental in my recovery. After the first session I felt calm and more like myself and by the third session I felt we could move on to other areas that were causing some issues. Thats when we decided to do Visceral Manipulation on my kidneys. These two modalities have really been pivotal in regaining my wellbeing after the MVA and I highly recommend giving Ellen a try!!

I highly recommend Ellen at Advanced Massage Therapies for specialty and medical massage treatments. She is knowledgeable, professional, warm and funny - just the right combination that put me at ease! She has helped me with so many things over the last couple of years, most notably with lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation to improve organ function, pain relief (of all kinds!), and trauma resolution. I had no idea how different medical massage is from the standard Swedish/deep tissue I was used to, but I am very happy to report I have experienced far more healing and release with Ellen than with many years seeing other therapists. I found Ellen at Advanced Massage Therapies at the direction of my physical therapist who wanted me to work with a neuromuscular massage therapist to help with foot problems. There are 2 issues: swelling and an immobile joint. The swelling has been ongoing since a serious accident five years ago. The immobile joint has been an issue longer than that. Within one treatment the swelling dramatically improved using a technique called Fluid Articular Release (FAR). Within three treatments the joint immobility has improved. I've since had her address tight chest muscles to improve my posture and hip muscles to improve my gait. All treatments are PAINLESS, which I find astounding when compared to work with other massage therapists and physical therapists

It has been almost a year since my first visit. I go monthly for different types of therapy. My first visit was for lymphatic massage therapy post removal of some lymph nodes during breast cancer treatment. My pain was gone after one session. I couldn't believe it. After an auto accident where I was rear ended, I developed a headache that would not go away. After what I'd call acupressure treatment to my head and neck, no headache. Ellen is very knowledgeable with different techniques for specific problems. I'm always amazed how great I feel and how long lasting the treatments are.

After trying to get rid of a stubborn virus for 6+ months, it was recommended that I go see Ellen Maroun with Advanced Massage therapies to have lymphatic massage done. I'd never heard of such a thing but wanted to do what I could to get rid of the virus once and for all. So far, I've experienced 2 sessions and am surprised at how gentle and relaxing the whole experience is and have been educated on how lymphatic massage can find the places virus's like to hide and facilitate their removal. I started seeing Ellen due to issues from an old whiplash injury and TMD. Ellen has not only helped me with my neck, jaw, and shoulders, she has alleviated my carpal tunnel symptoms as well (which I didn't think was possible). Ellen worked on my right arm since it was sore from arm pump after my motorcyle race practice. She taped it up so i was able to last my whole race without losing grip on the throttle for all 14 laps! She gave me some stretches for after my race and they helped me recover quickly as well. I am so grateful she was there to help.

This is not your typical massage, but whether you suffer from chronic or acute pain, Advanced Massage Therapies can help mitigate your discomfort. I live 3 hours east of AMT, and I make the drive because I can't find anywhere else that has a similar caliber of work and such a variety of approaches.
