Definitely not a friendly or very professional environment. I would rather go to the Valdosta stores where they make you feel welcome. I needed to buy multivitamins because GNC has the best quality vitamins so I stopped in while I was in Tifton. I recieved no greeting when I walked in or even once approaching the counter. The cashier was literally sitting on the back counter behind the register chilling on her phone when I walked up. The store was nice, clean, well organized, and fully stocked.

As GNC carries my favorite fitness products, its unfortunate that I could not provide a higher rating due to being on the receiving end of poor customer service rendered by one of this location's employees. 3 or so months ago, I purchased one item to the displeasure of an employee who put her sales quota above the responsibility of making customers feel welcomed during their visit. As I picked up my item and proceeded to check out, the employee aggressively stated, 'DON'T BUY JUST ONE THING. YOU'RE MESSING UP MY NUMBERS FOR TODAY!' Taken aback, my significant other and I--as a courtesy--purchased additional items as a means of 'assisting' the employee with her goal. Two days later, I returned to the location to provide--to her great surprise--feedback regarding her behavior to which she responded that she was just 'joking'. As a customer, my responsibility is to purchase--or not--as I deem appropriate; Hers is to ensure a positive customer experience. I should, at no point, feel pressured to purchase items. Since providing feedback, the employee has proceeded to be passive-aggressive in interactions with me by not returning cordiality while providing cordiality to other customers who enter the store shortly after my arrival. The customer experience is vital to maintaining a reputable brand. It is my hope that the provided feedback regarding my experience serves to better the experience of others who, like myself, are free to buy or not buy items of their choosing.
