Better Health Store

This place has changed and not for the better. This location needs to improve their customer service. Management is rude. Good selection of products but their prices could be a bit more reasonable.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The deli vegan food is really delicious

Today I had a had the worst experience at customer service with an employee named Yola. I had already been to Ann Arbors Better Health while on the other side of town and purchased a few things. Later I went to Plymouth store /which is my usual store. I purchased what I couldnt find in Ann Arbor. I later returned to Plymouths location because I needed to exchange an item that was incorrect. However I couldnt find my receipt and couldnt remember which store I purchased it at. When I went back into Plymouth I stood waiting at customer service. Yola walked past and went to speak with a cashier and help another customer. The customer became upset and proceeded to leave the store. Yola laughed at her and told the cashier shes mad. Yola then very loudly told the customer as she was walking away you have a good day all while laughing. Finally she came over to help me. I told her i needed to exchange an item. She said sure just go get it. I said honestly I dont remember which store I purchased this at Ann Arbor or here. But I was just here an hour ago and I cant find the receipt. She then said if I got it at Ann Arbor she couldnt exchange it. I inquired about her pulling up my membership and seeing my purchases from today. She said that wasnt possible. At that point I was digging thru receipts. Finally I asked who is the district manager? Because they should be able to pull up my purchase. She asked another manager to come over. I proceeded to inquire again about pulling up my membership. At this point Yola was practically yelling saying I was going back and forth with her and I didnt comprehend her. I just stood there asking the other manager why is she yelling and making a scene? The other manager looked in awe and stated she wasnt sure why. Yola then accused me of trying to get her fired. Yola then yells over to a customer and says hey Frank! Frank proceeds to tell Yola to take down his number because he will vouch for her in regards to the situation between her and I. She motions to him and rolls her eyes and they laugh in reference to me. I then asked the other manager why is she involving other customers and making a scene? Frank hollers at me if you dont have a receipt leave!. This was a big man saying this to me, a female. I was in shock. Yola put me in a dangerous situation and I am appalled, shocked and disgusted. I began recording after she started yelling. I frequent this store almost once a week or at least a few times a month. Also I spend a lot of money on products here. This is disgusting behavior. I requested corporates number. When I called Novi to speak with him. The man said the manager cant come to the phone and then hung up on me. I called back and had a female say the district manager wasnt in and he doesnt return calls during the weekend, only week days. So it will be sometime during the weekday.Lastly I called Ann Arbor store.? I gave them my name and phone number. They called me back within 5 minutes and had pulled up my purchases and allowed me to come to the store and exchange the item, and pay the difference. Why couldnt Yola at Better Health Plymouth do that??

I can understand why they have such high employee turnover. Worst management and customer service that I have ever experienced. Needless to say, I will never be back!

Placed an order for a turkey online, paid a deposit via credit card, and received a confirmation email and a date when the turkey would be ready. Showed up on that date and they could not even find any record of my order in their system, even though I had a confirmation email and proof of a paid deposit. Highly suggest you shop elsewhere.
