I saw Dr. Sturm in May for my consultation. I just found out today, after calling them twice, that he said my 'pain management needs are too complicated for this office. [I] need to seek treatment elsewhere.' What kind of doctor is he? Isn't that the point of his clinic? He claims to treat pain from migraines, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, and fibromyalgia to name a few, but now he suddenly can't treat them? Why not? Missouri doctors are a joke!

Dr.Strum is one of the best Doctors I have seen. He is trying to figure out why I am in so much pain everyday. If you need a pain management dr. hands down I would recommend DR. Strum. Thanks to my fibro dr I seen him.She said I needed a pain dr now

The office girls are snotty and controlling, get on their bad side and they squeeze you out. Dr. spends little time with you and you can tell he doesn't care. Avoid at all costs. If you ever listened to advice before....do it now....tried to charge my insurance company behind my back despite paying cash.

Im not even sure where to start.. I have been with Dr. Sturm for about 2yrs now.. From the moment I met him and his staff, I have loved every minute of being under his care.. He was the first doctor to actually seem like he wanted to get to the bottom of my symptoms and sent me for numerous tests along with recommendations for other specialist. His billing department even worked with me to get a billing issue with insurance worked out so I could continue with his care. To my understanding I have done everything right yet after an appointment with him this month and everything going well (so I thought) I received a call from his nurse Gabbi to inform me that they were canceling my next months appointment stating that Dr. Sturm has decided I am beyond his care.. Ummm WHAT?? I literally just saw you and you said nothing!! I even had a follow up with the Cardiologist AND the Neurologist that he referred me to soooo what happened?? When I asked if I did something wrong I was told by Gabbi that she wasnt sure only that the doctor said what he did.. I received no referral to someone that might be able to help me either so Im back to square one . Not to mention the meds he has prescribed me for 2 years arent just ones that I can stop cold turkey.. Im at a complete loss and I was so happy and hopeful. Now what?

Ive been working with Dr. Sturm for about 3 yrs, little more maybe (?) & he's excellent. Listens, informative. If he doesn't have the answer/clue, he tries to figure it out. Stays on me to get my other tests completed so he can continue to help guide me the best he knows how. Open minded. He's my go to pain dr specialist. Funny too! Great bed side manner.. I feel very grateful he's my Dr bc I have complexities that a lot of other drs just don't even want to deal with. He listens. Great job, Dr. Sturm!! Very helpful, professional yet treats me as a PERSON & NOT just a patient or a number.. I'm very satisfied. ~ Libby
